Dyschoriste decumbens merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Acanthaceae (suku jeruju-jerujuan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Arizona selatan hingga Texas barat dan Meksiko. Nama ilmiah Dyschoriste decumbens pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Asa Gray pada tahun 1891.
