Dysopsis hirsuta merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu kecil dari famili Euphorbiaceae (suku kastuba-kastubaan) yang memiliki siklus hidup semusim (annual). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Kepulauan Juan Fernández. Nama ilmiah Dysopsis hirsuta diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Johannes Müller Argoviensis pada tahun 1951.
