Dyssodia decipiens adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim atau menahun dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko (Oaxaca, Chiapas), hingga Guatemala. Nama ilmiah Dyssodia decipiens pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Friedrich Gottlieb Bartling pada tahun 1962.
