Ebenopsis ebano adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Texas tenggara hingga Meksiko. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan texas ebony. Nama ilmiah Ebenopsis ebano mulai dipublikasikan pada tahun 1996.
