Echinochloa haploclada adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Ethiopia hingga Eswatini. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan cockspur. Nama ilmiah Echinochloa haploclada pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Otto Stapf pada tahun 1920.
