Echinochloa oplismenoides adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Arizona tenggara hingga Guatemala. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan chihuahuan cockspur. Nama ilmiah Echinochloa oplismenoides pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Eugène Pierre Nicolas Fournier pada tahun 1920.
