Echinocoryne holosericea merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Brazil tengah dan timur. Nama ilmiah Echinocoryne holosericea pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Friedrich Philipp von Martius pada tahun 1987.
