Echinopogon caespitosus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Australia timur dan tenggara. Nama ilmiah Echinopogon caespitosus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Charles Edward Hubbard pada tahun 1935.
