Echinops afghanicus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Afghanistan. Nama ilmiah Echinops afghanicus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Alexander Gilli pada tahun 1963.
