Echinops armatus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Ukraina hingga Krym. Nama ilmiah Echinops armatus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Christian von Steven pada tahun 1856.
