Echinops ossicus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari wilayah sepanjang Türkiye hingga Kaukasia. Nama ilmiah Echinops ossicus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Karl Heinrich Emil Koch pada tahun 1851.
