Echinops taeckholmianus merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Mesir utara. Nama ilmiah Echinops taeckholmianus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Amal Amin pada tahun 1987.
