Echium hypertropicum adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Boraginaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Cape Verde. Nama ilmiah Echium hypertropicum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Philip Barker Webb pada tahun 1849.
