Echium velutinum merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Boraginaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Maroko. Nama ilmiah Echium velutinum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Auguste-Henri de Coincy pada tahun 1900.
