Elachyptera holtzii merupakan tumbuhan berkayu dari famili Celastraceae. Spesies ini memiliki pola hidup memanjat dengan akar tetap di tanah (liana). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari kawasan tropis Afrika bagian barat-tengah hingga Tanzania dan Angola. Nama ilmiah Elachyptera holtzii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Ludwig Eduard Theodor Loesener pada tahun 1960.
