Elaeagnus thunbergii merupakan tumbuhan perdu dari famili Elaeagnaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan tumbuh memanjat. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Taiwan. Nama ilmiah Elaeagnus thunbergii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Camille Servettaz pada tahun 1908.
