Elaeosticta lutea merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Apiaceae (suku adas-adasan). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk bonggol berbentuk umbi. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Ukraina hingga Siberia barat dan Kaukasia. Nama ilmiah Elaeosticta lutea diperkenalkan oleh Friedrich August Marschall von Bieberstein pada tahun 1978.
