Elaphoglossum chartaceum merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Polypodiaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Greater Antilles. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan papery tonguefern. Nama ilmiah Elaphoglossum chartaceum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis John Gilbert Baker pada tahun 1905.
