Elaphoglossum tectum merupakan tumbuhan epifit dari famili Polypodiaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko selatan hingga kawasan tropis Amerika. Nama ilmiah Elaphoglossum tectum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Ludwig von Willdenow pada tahun 1857.
