Elatostema novoguineense adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Urticaceae yang tumbuh dalam bentuk perdu kecil atau semak. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Papua. Nama ilmiah Elatostema novoguineense pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Otto Warburg pada tahun 1891.
