Elatostema rupestre merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Urticaceae yang tumbuh dalam bentuk perdu kecil atau semak. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Himalaya hingga China (Yunnan selatan) dan Vietnam. Nama ilmiah Elatostema rupestre diperkenalkan oleh Francis Buchanan-Hamilton pada tahun 1856.
