Elegia fistulosa merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Restionaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Provinsi Cape barat daya dan selatan. Nama ilmiah Elegia fistulosa diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Carl Sigismund Kunth pada tahun 1841.
