Eleocharis bella merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan beautiful spikerush. Nama ilmiah Eleocharis bella pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Charles Vancouver Piper pada tahun 1929.
