Eleutherococcus hypoleucus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Araliaceae (suku mangkok-mangkokan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Jepang (Honshu). Nama ilmiah Eleutherococcus hypoleucus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Tomitaro Makino pada tahun 1924.
