Elsholtzia communis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Lamiaceae (suku nilam-nilaman). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Indo-China. Nama ilmiah Elsholtzia communis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Henry Collett pada tahun 1912.
