Elymus scabriglumis merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Chili hingga Argentina. Nama ilmiah Elymus scabriglumis diperkenalkan oleh Eduard Hackel pada tahun 1984.
