Elymus tenuis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Selandia Baru. Nama ilmiah Elymus tenuis diperkenalkan oleh John Buchanan pada tahun 1982.
