Elymus troctolepis merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Kaukasia. Nama ilmiah Elymus troctolepis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Sergei Arsenjevic Nevski pada tahun 1972.
