Embelia javanica adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Primulaceae yang memiliki pola tumbuh memanjat. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di kawasan Malesia barat. Nama ilmiah Embelia javanica pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Alphonse Louis Pierre Pyrame de Candolle pada tahun 1844.
