Embelia pacifica merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Primulaceae yang memiliki pola tumbuh memanjat. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Kepulauan Hawaii. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan kilioe. Nama ilmiah Embelia pacifica pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis William (Wilhelm) Hillebrand pada tahun 1888.
