Emilia javanica adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di kawasan Asia tropis dan subtropis. Nama ilmiah Emilia javanica pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Nicolaas Laurens Burman pada tahun 1908.
