Encephalartos munchii merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Zamiaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Mozambique. Nama ilmiah Encephalartos munchii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Robert Allen Dyer pada tahun 1969.
