Encephalartos princeps adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Zamiaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Provinsi Cape timur. Nama ilmiah Encephalartos princeps diperkenalkan oleh Robert Allen Dyer pada tahun 1965.
