Encephalartos trispinosus merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Zamiaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Provinsi Cape timur. Nama ilmiah Encephalartos trispinosus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Joseph Dalton Hooker pada tahun 1965.
