Enydra fluctuans merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di kawasan tropis dan subtropis Afrika, Eropa dan Asia. Nama ilmiah Enydra fluctuans diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama João de Loureiro pada tahun 1790.
