Ephedra aurea adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Ephedraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Sicilia. Nama ilmiah Ephedra aurea pertama kali dipublikasikan pada tahun 2022.
