Ephedra torreyana var. powelliorum merupakan tumbuhan perdu atau perdu kecil dari famili Ephedraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Texas hingga Meksiko (Chihuahua). Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan torrey's jointfir. Nama ilmiah Ephedra torreyana var. powelliorum mulai dipublikasikan pada tahun 1993.
