Epidendrum rigidum adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Orchidaceae (suku anggrek-anggrekan). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan tumbuh menempel di pohon lain (epifit) atau di bebatuan (litofit). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Pulau Socorro, Florida selatan, kawasan tropis Amerika. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan stiff flower star orchid. Nama ilmiah Epidendrum rigidum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Nikolaus Joseph von Jacquin pada tahun 1760.
