Epidendrum trachythece adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan epifit dari famili Orchidaceae (suku anggrek-anggrekan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko (Oaxaca, Chiapas) hingga Amerika tengah. Nama ilmiah Epidendrum trachythece diperkenalkan oleh Rudolf Schlechter pada tahun 1907.
