Equisetum arvense adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Equisetaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk akar rimpang. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di kawasan beriklim sedang dan subarktik belahan bumi utara. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan field horsetail. Nama ilmiah Equisetum arvense diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Carolus Linnaeus pada tahun 1753.
