Eragrostiella leioptera merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Assam. Nama ilmiah Eragrostiella leioptera pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Otto Stapf pada tahun 1940.
