Eragrostis capillaris adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kanada bagian timur hingga Meksiko tengah. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan lace grass. Nama ilmiah Eragrostis capillaris pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Christian Gottfried Daniel Nees von Esenbeck pada tahun 1829.
