Eragrostis leptophylla merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Kepulauan Hawaii. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan mountain lovegrass. Nama ilmiah Eragrostis leptophylla pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Albert Spear Hitchcock pada tahun 1922.
