Eragrostis leptotricha merupakan tumbuhan semusim atau menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Zimbabwe hingga Botswana. Nama ilmiah Eragrostis leptotricha pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Thomas Arthur Cope pada tahun 1998.
