Eragrostis sclerantha subsp. villosipes merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Tanzania hingga Afrika Selatan. Nama ilmiah Eragrostis sclerantha subsp. villosipes pertama kali dipublikasikan pada tahun 1961.
