Eragrostis stenothyrsa merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering di wilayah Namibia. Nama ilmiah Eragrostis stenothyrsa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Robert Knud Friedrich Pilger pada tahun 1914.
