Eragrostis trichocolea adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko, Brazil, hingga Argentina bagian utara. Nama ilmiah Eragrostis trichocolea pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis José Arechavaleta pada tahun 1896.
