Eremanthus incanus merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Brazil (Bahia, Minas Gerais). Nama ilmiah Eremanthus incanus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Christian Friedrich Lessing pada tahun 1831.
