Erica austronyassana merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Ericaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Malawi (Gn. Mulanje). Nama ilmiah Erica austronyassana diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Carl Gustav Alm pada tahun 1927.
