Erica axillaris merupakan tumbuhan perdu atau perdu kecil dari famili Ericaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Provinsi Cape barat daya dan selatan. Nama ilmiah Erica axillaris diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Carl Peter Thunberg pada tahun 1785.
